Great seafood market, stopped by twice during our week at the beach. Large selection with friendly , knowledgeable service.

Wonderful food crab legs grouper bits and shrimp can't get any better

Great place for fresh seafood. We visit family in Little River and make a point of taking a cooler because we'll stop at Platt's on our way back to Columbia everytime.

Good, fresh seafood and the grill is also good. Had the soft shell crab sandwich and it was really good. I would eat there everyday if I could.

Nice little establishment, my suggestion would be for the crew making the fried items to have a better attitude along with the tall black guy working the seafood counter, no need for the attitude I don’t care how busy you are. Good service is what brings customers in your doors,but when you treat customers the way I was treated I will go to another seafood market where I will be treated better.

Great seafood. Cooked just right. They were extremely busy and we had a little mix up. They made it right, no questions asked. First rate establishment!!

Stopped here on the way home. Usually eat shrimp at another restaurant, but they didn't open till 3:00 since it was a Monday. So gave this place a try. Friendly people and great prices!! Can't wait to come back the next time we visit Myrtle Beach! .... The shrimp was yummy too ☺️

Great seafood at great prices! I bought jumbo shrimp that were so fresh, they tasted like candy! The owners are very helpful as he packed my cooler full of ice for my drive home. From now out Platt's will be my only store for fresh seafood.

Don't waste time bouncing around the grocery stores. Go here first. You will be glad you did. Best oysters I have ever gotten. The fish and shrimp looked good. That is for next time.

For simple fried seafood pleasure this is a great takeout spot. Flounder was light and tasty and the shrimp was the same

No question, best place to pick up your seafood! Go to back counter, get your raw seafood, order steamed (left back register), or order from menu - fried platters (right back register), wait until your name is called and pick up your order from back then take all to center register station to pay ...voilà... Take home your AWESOME SEAFOOD! (as if that isn't enough, you can also pick up ANY extras you need to make any seafood meal you can possibly imagine)

Fast and friendly. Good selection. They accept ebt on uncooked foods. I recommend.

We ordered the small low country boil to pick up for dinner. There were 4 adults eating, and it was plenty for all plus leftovers of the potatoes and sausage. It was delicious! You have to order at least 2 hours ahead, and if they’re really busy there still might be a little bit of a wait, but it was well worth it! We will definitely make this a regular thing when we vacation in Cherry Grove!

Quality seafood - no doubt, however it's not a great customer experience especially when they're busy (which is often!). Be VERY specific when you order, a 1.5 pound lobster can end up being 2.5 pounder if you don't check. Always delicious.

Stopped by and purchased 4 dinners to go. What a huge disappointment. Small over cooked oysters, fried bay scallops, who in there right mind fries bay scallops. For what I payed for a three choice dinner I think you could use some good sea scallops. People who are saying you have great meals have never had good seafood.

Pat and Carl are the best employees in this establishment. They are top notch. Steamed shrimp is awesome and their fresh Grouper is better than anywhere on the beach. As a local, I would give them 10 stars

This place is absolutely awesome! The staff is super helpful with your questions and the food is the best! I ordered a plate with fried shrimp, scallops and a deviled crab that was absolutely delicious! The fries were excellent too!! Not usually one of my favorites on the menu but these were seasoned and were great!! I'll definitely be back again and again.

Go HERE for your fresh seafood. The fish is pricy, but it is so fresh and there's a lot to select from. This place is locally owned and operated. If you have time, get some fish fried fresh for lunch. There is no place to sit and eat inside the store. You can eat it standing at your car in the parking lot. Eating Platt's fried fish atop the asphalt will be worth it. We often go here for our raw seafood to cook at home. The have a small shop with all the trimming you need for cooking or fishing for seafood as well. The staff is always super friendly.

If you're looking for the basics I guess it's okay. But we were looking for cool sea food like shark and more exotic fish than mahi mahi and salmon.The food that they did have was delicious though.We asked the lady behind the counter for the best way to cook frogs' legs and she couldn't tell us because she hates fish... then maybe don't work at a fish store... js

The Whole Staff was AMAZING! today was my first time visiting Platt's Seafood and everyone was so friendly, welcoming and the crew working in the Seafood market section did an awesome job helping me. Thank You Guys so much I'll have to come back and eat lunch here one day.
